Newport Crest is a safe and beautiful community, but like any neighborhood, incidents can still happen. That’s why we’re launching the Newport Crest Neighborhood Watch: a simple, organized way to keep each other informed, aware, and connected.

We’re not about walking around with flashlights or creating tension, we’re about being a community of information. When something happens, whether it’s a car break-in, suspicious activity, or a package theft, we want neighbors to have a place to report it, share it, and learn from it.

Our Approach

Each court will have a Court Captain—a neighbor who helps keep their section of the community informed. Their role is to pass along updates, especially to those who aren’t on our neighborhood group chats or email list.

  • We’re gathering info from willing neighbors—like who has security cameras or emergency skills (EMTs, firefighters, etc.). This way, if something happens, we have a better chance of understanding what occurred by working together.

  • We’ll send out monthly reports or updates to help everyone stay informed without being overwhelmed.

Why Join?

This is open to everyone. Whether you just want to stay in the loop or want to help out more actively, there’s a place for you here. The more neighbors who participate, the stronger our community becomes.
